I am currently working as a development engineer for a company specialising in smart software for underwater vehicles, sensors and systems. I also have an MSc in Robotics, Autonomous and Interactive Systems specialising in Marine Robotics and a BSc in Computational Physics. I have a wide range of scientific and engineering mathematics knowledge due to the combination of these degrees and various work experience .
I primarily write using C++ and Python. I design and implement code to allow for the collection and analysis of large quantities of data, related to both the vehicle and the surrounding systems. As well as this I am responsible for writing documents such as ICDs, SVDs and SDDs.
For my Master's dissertation I successfully controlled an underwater manipulator using a mixture of end-effector tracking and motion retargeting. This allowed the manipulator and end-effector to mimic the operator’s actions.
